I think you have officially won the smallest dedicated HT room contest!

Looks real nice though; nice job!

Thanks, the room is a massive 7x14ft!

LOL I love it! Let it NEVER be said you just dont have room.

I notice you have some accoustic treatments up. How does the room sound?

I like it! It's not small, it's intimate!

Yeah, real nice. Gives new meaning to the term private screening room. Awesome use of space.

I imagine a 9" CRT on that size of screen must look quite amazing. Nice room.

The screen is appox 72" diagonal, the picture is nice and bright :) The screen was originally grayhawk (used to have a DLP a few years ago) and even with a gray screen the Barco was plenty bright.

It sounds pretty good, certainly the Auralex has helped a great deal. I'll probably go for new speakers next, not sure what yet.

Here is a pic of the frequency fresponse (I'm using the single band EQ on the PC Ultra to tame a peak at around 45Hz.)

Well you are living prof that it is not the size but what you do with it. WOW the bass in that room must be AWSOME. No need for BASS SHAKERS in there. I like it. No I love it.

Thanks everyone, I was thinking of changeing the Episode 1 poster for something else, any ideas? I was thinking maybe a Spiderman poster. Spiders love the room, I get some real whoppers in there. Great for keeping the wife out :D

Cool theater. Do you need to go thru a secret passage to get to it? :)

nice room, you are proof that any home can have an HT and willpower is the only thing lacking.

so I guess the second chair is for the mistress :)

Great "escape pod" you have there. And I thought I had a small (intimate) room (13 x 11)
That's a large room...for the UK. :)
(A very large room compared to where I lived in Reddich.)

I've changed the speakers to something a little more appropriate. :)

Great room.

Now, I feel better that I can set up a dedicated room in a 10x10 room.

I love this room. Very creative use of space! And it looks cool as hell. Like an 'escape pod', as someone mentioned.

Thanks, with 3 kids I need an escape pod! :D

I love it! I'll bet that Barco dominates the ceiling. Also, since you are looking for poster ideas, I'm thinking of something in keeping with the small theme like The Hobbit. Maybe you could frame a picture of Gandolf walking around in Bilbo's Hobbit hole from LOTR FOTR.

Man that's awesome!!! Where there's a will, there's a way! :)

Very impressive. I like it! Of course, mine's not much bigger, 9'x16'. It's amazing what you can do with small spaces. :)

Thanks for the inspiration, Jeff. I was beginning to lose hope - now I am focused again!!

Impressive efficiency.

And to think that I had a hard time putting together a HT in a 12'x18' room....

I love it...3 kids -> only 2 seats. Most definately an "escape pod"

Rich,

I am just thinking about using a room roughly the same size as yours 12x19 have you got any pictures for inspiration?
