My cable company, Cox, downloaded firmware 7.15 today into the 6200.
I use a Mits 1100U connected to a JVC40K and to the 6200. I use the 40K's HD component outputs to view the 1100U's playback on a non-Mits HDTV and projector.
After resetting the 1394 inputs on the Mits 1100U and selecting the 6200, I could not see any video through the 40K component outputs. So, the 1100U does not pass-through the 6200's signal to the JVC 40K.
However, I can select D1 (or D2) to select the 6200, and can record. After recording, when I press play, the recorded program plays through the 40K. I tested HBO HD and Showtime HD without the dreaded Copy Protected error.
Also, when setting the timer, the 1100U does not allow for the selection of 1394 inputs (just like the 40K). I did not try to have the 6200 control the 1100U - I will test this later this week.
