I have the Motorola DCX3400-M DVR
According to the Motorola External DVR Storage for Motorola DVR Set-tops User Guide found herehttp://www.motorola.com/staticfiles/...f?pubid=987654
According to the User Guide you can connect the Motorola DCX3400-M DVR to a eSATA external hard drive but In order to use Motorola's External DVR Storage feature, your cable service provider must authorize your account for use of this feature.
So why wont COX let us use an external hard drive. I am tired of not having enough recording space.
