Problem fixed itself....As of Friday afternoon.....Channels 1004, 1007, 1010, 1013, 1014, 1015, 1022, 1032 & 1056 were off air....All came back on around midnight Friday...
I called Cox Friday morning and spent 45 frustrating minutes (The guy could barely speak legible English) on the phone....We did everything under the sun with no success...
Cox Tech came out Saturday afternoon and told me that there had been an accident with a car hitting a telephone pole on Thursday about a mile from my house.. He said that Va Power had to replace the pole before Cox could fix their cable. This apparently was completed late Friday night.
A question to Cox folks.....Why doesn't the phone techs have information as to incidents in the field that affect service????.. i.e. damaged poles, etc....This could have saved me the 45 minutes I spent on the phone with this guy on Friday. The field tech was very frustrated as well, as he had been on several service calls with same issue I had....It would be great if the different departments shared information. JMO....
