I borrow an LP70+ from work every now and then to watch DVD's at home. Last night I was watching Gothika and I noticed that if I moved my eyes quickly, I could see a rainbow effect on an areas that were white (or bright) on the wall. I have an older Panasonic DVD (not prog scan) and it was connected to the projector via a S-Video cable. The DVD is a backed up copy of the original. I've watched half a dozen DVD on it before and have ran my Tivo through it as well. I've never noticed it before, but that doesn't mean it wasn't there.
As I'm a projector newbie, I have no idea what's causing this. Is it the projector, the connection, the DVD backup, the fact that my "screen" is a wall? Any info you could provide would be great.
