I just called buydig, described the problem and checked for the option of exchange. Got a quick NO. They claimed they don't exchange TV, period. All problem should go to manufactor. When I asked that some internet users did have the experience of replacing a defective DLP set with BD, I was told that truth wasn't be told by "those users" because BD never did that.
Well, I guess that's how internet shopping works, saved me a couple of hundred bucks but no service afterwards. Will wait for the tech guy.
If the tech guy does something to the light engine, either fix or replace, that shouldn't have some extra impact on other aspects of the TV, right?
