You should add Role Audio Kayak, Discovery and Skiff to your list.
I'm using Role Audio Discovery speakers for L, C and R in our living room. We previously used Paradigm Reference Studio 60. The Discoveries sound great, have really good imaging (even though I have them placed in our A/V cabinet) and are tiny. We use a subwoofer for the low end.
Role Audio is made by NSM. I have some NSM Model 5s (cheaper version of the Role Audio Kayak) coming on their way to try in my bedroom.
I don't know why this company has such a limited presence in the marketplace, they are making some really nice stuff. I like that their speaker designs are acoustic suspension instead of having rear mounted ports. Rear mounted ports make it difficult to place the speakers close to the wall, where wives normally want them.http://www.roleaudio.com
