Actually, my issue of who is responsible has still not been clarified. Check your emails to/from me. Last you told me you were pursuing Eric legally. I recall you going way out of your way to assist me with technical advice with whatever problem I was having at the time but I don't recall any buy-back or trade offers. It always went back to Eric being on the hook to both of us.

I could be wrong and I am not picking on you. You (the new PSI) have been great.
that is a gret question. I am on the hook for a new c-drive

Resellers here are phenomenally helpful, knowledgable, and honest. My problem with Eric Lang is that when I thought I had an issue (and I may still have one) he would not honor a letter he wrote me guaranteeing he would be responsible. Matt has been helpful but it still has fallen back on Eric and no resolution has been made. My issue isn't so much about the technical aspect of the projector or the former PSI; it has to do with the honesty/morals/integrity of one man; Eric Lang.

It's amazing; I haven't thought about my issue with Eric in a while but writing this message has me all flustered again. I need a raster doll to punch.

Speaking of my issue, I'm still not sure if my side focus problem is due to me not being able to properly set my 8500 up or if I have a board issue. If I weren't so bogged down trying to get my HTPC working (ATI HDTV card issue), and other issues at home, I'd spend a weekend doing a complete new setup. All suggestions/advice are always appreciated.

Dave was on the right track, he just didn't know it.......

The lawsuit is still in prgress, and to bring everyone up to date, it is still being pursued and has been written with the customers in mind. I can't say to much, but we are still doing everything in our power to right the wrong, for ourselves and the public. If anyone has any outstanding issues, with PSI, new or old, let me know, I will work out a trade or repair to the best of my ability. PSI customers have remained PSI customers for a reason. I won't defend anyone else'e actions, but I know that our crew is one of the best, and surely the biggest, and we will stand behind our work untill the job is done.

A bit of news, we just opened a live chat on our web site ( the new one). It will make answers a little bit quicker and still without the hassle of a phone call.

I don't really know much about what's going on, but I do have this very general word of
advice regarding intitiating a lawsuit: Make very sure that your own house is clean before
trying to sue someone you have purchased a business from. It very well may be, but
be sure. Make sure you have satisfied all contractual obligations, including but not limited
to making full payment for the business, its assets, trademarks, and so forth, and have
properly secured full legal rights and titles to all related property, or if these dealings are
not complete, they must be in the process of being completed according to a schedule
that has been agreed upon between the former and new owners.

If you have any such unsatisfied obligations, they can quite easily become the basis of
a countersuit. If that happens, everyone is sure to lose. Lawyers are not cheap.

I'm offering this as very GENERAL advice, and do not claim or even imply that anyone
involved might actually have such unfulfilled obligations. I am not privy to any such
information, but feel that people need to be reminded occasionally that they need to
make sure their affairs are well in order before trying to bring the affairs of others into
the always unwanted and usually unpleasant light of a lawsuit.

Only if someone looks over your shoulder and reads the words on the search results.

If you have automated monitoring of the contents of pages, you would. Be safe, do it from home--you really don't need to know that bad, trust me.
