I'm somewhat fortunate, I guess; my HDTV (a 32" Sanyo Vizon) has the dual tuner, so I can get everything in analog, although I'd rather be able to get everything as it is.
What does surprise me in a good way is that I'm able to pull in the channels I am getting with just a Terk HDTVi antenna, inside my brick house. I can't argue about that! Case in point: Last night, I was able to briefly get WKYU's HD signal out of Bowling Green, which I think is just wonderful.
It does lead me to question why my rinky-dink little setup here can pull in a station some 70 miles from here when I can't get WEHT ... and they're less than 35 miles away!!! Remember, I was getting 25 just fine
until about a month ago. They deny there's a problem, but I'm not so sure
One thing I'm considering is adding an amplifier to the Terk. I used to have an adjustable gain amp, but it seems to have disappeared somewhere. Anyone have any recommendations???
