Apparently, the line from the pole to the house was water damaged (Hurricane?), and wasn't always sending the complete signal back to cable. As a result, I was having trouble accessing the DVR programming and on-demand programming.
They ran a new line and all is well. So you may want to ask them to come out and check your line.
