As an owner and occasional seller of 8500s, I would love to see this comparison. I would have to insist on one condition though, that someone very knowledgable with the Marquee be allowed to do the set-up. The only person I know within driving distance is Curt Palm, hopefully he offers up one of his machines for the fight. Since the M8500 is probably THE most common/popular 8" EM focus machine out there, I think this test would have especially usefull relevance for all the people out there looking to iether A) build a HT for the first time or B) upgrade an older theater currently using a 7" ES focus machine or obsolete digital = more than 6 months old:D
