How about a thread for D-VHS coverart? - Page 10

Oops. That's been corrected.
Since your fixing the site, my dead like me template dont work either... you might want to check all the links just in case.
D-VHS people sure are high maintenance, aren't they? I checked all the links and corrected the 404s.

While you're working on your site ... I just FTP'd three new covers to you: "Spider-Man 2", "Scent of a Woman" & "L.A. Confidential".

I am working on a poster for my room to have logos of all my equipment. I know it is not "cover" related, but I thought someone here may have an EPS or large JPG of the D-Theater logo. I just want to put the logo on a poster I make.
If so, PM me and maybe it can be emailed.

thanks!

The largest graphic I found is @ http://www.jvc-victor.co.jp/english/D-VHS/dvhslogo.gif

With Photoshop, you can use the 'magic wand' tool to grab the D-VHS shape, then blow that up to any size you want, then fill-in with black using 'paint can' tool.

I already sent him an EPS of that Brajesh. Anybody have the D-theater logo eps? I used to have it, but my file is no longer working. I dont remember where I DL it from.

Im suprized no one has made a gladiator cover...
I wish "Gladiator" would air again. Only spotted the Cuba Gooding version on Starz, not the Crowe version of course.

Anyone have hi-res scans of "Dave", "The Piano", "A Shot in the Dark" & "Witness" DVDs? The few cover sites still alive don't see to have them.

Nathan, I FTP'd you four additional covers: "Dave", "Napolean Dynamite", "True Lies" & "Witness". Don't know if you're still updating your site these days.
I'm a little behind. I will update covers from you and Tony this evening.
Your resident slacker finally updated the covers site. Thanks to all for the new covers this week!

remains incomplete because of credits.

Nathan, looks like you missed "Spider-Man 2", "Scent of a Woman" & "L.A. Confidential". They're in the same FTP folder as the four newer ones you posted.

I also just added "Titanic". Enjoy!
Brajesh-- thanks for the heads up. I don't know how I missed those. I need all four personally, anyway!

Here is what I am looking for:

BLUE VELVET
HARRY POTTER 1 & 2

Here is what I am working on:

HERO (Jet Li)
DANCES WITH WOLVES
Can anyone provide me with high quality scans of EXCALIBUR, The ARRIVAL, BLUE VELVET, THE CROW, THE PEACEMAKER (prefeably the D-Theater cover), The BOUNTY, BOURNE IDENTITY (D-Theater cover), USUAL SUSPECT, WIND & THE LION, FEARLESS, GET CARTER (original & remake), HENRY V (Branagh version) and FEMME FATAL artwork?

I'd like to create those covers. Right now I am working on a slew of new ones. More than you can imagine. Hopefully that will kick start this thread and the creativity of others back to life.

I guess not too many people are still interested in cover art? I have quite a few new covers I could upload if anybody is interested.

Batman & Robin
The Warriors
Sideways
Happy Gilmore
Casper
Paycheck
Blade Runner
From Dusk Till Dawn
Van Helsing

I'm new to Photoshop but find it a very fun hobby. Just what I need, another hobby.

Darrin,
Feel free to send them to me at nathan_r AT georgiahdtv DOT com and I'll put them up this evening.

I agree. I've been having a great time making covers for some of my recently recorded HD movies, like Punisher, Seabiscuit, Dodgeball, AVP, Bladerunner and more.

Great tutorials at Nathan's site if anyone else is interested in making covers.

Yeah, you tend to learn fast as you use the software. I am down to 7 minutes on some of them. They keep getting better and better as I learn PS. I haven't yet done Dodgeball and Punisher so why don't you upload them to Nathan? It would save me some time so I won't have to do them myself.

7 mintues? wow! It takes me a while to type set all the production credits, find industry review pull quotes. test in different types printers. Now it may take me 7 minutes on a TV show volume as the majority of the work is done.
