How about a thread for D-VHS coverart? - Page 14

I just finished recording "Wimbledon" with Kirsten Dunst and Paul Bettany. Not the greatest movie of all time, but I still liked it. Has anyone made a cover for this movie that could be shared? Thanx.

I have one, will send when I get home this weekend. What size do you prefer?

Thanks Tony. I really appreciate your help. i am a bit new to this and have only recorded a few movies. But, I am using the white VHS full sleeve capsules from Polyline.

2 different sizes of wimbledon have been sent enjoy RKPerk!

Well since my font is messed up I just ended up cutting and pasting the later logo for wimbledon. so it's a bit rough. I was going to use the original logo as used in the trailers, but have been having weird font problems. Here was my recreated original logo.

Nathan, you have "Crocodile Dundee", "Ghostbusters", "Sideways" & "Sin City" from me.

Update: Also just sent you "U2 - Vertigo". This was a tough cover to make using the DVD cover. What a concert though!

Has anyone put together a cover for "Air Force One"

Thanks in advance. While I only have recorded a few DVHS tapes, they all look great because of the efforts of the contributors here and their willingness to share.

I'm working on Garden State and Bottle Rocket they are just about done. Anyone have decent one for Rushmore?
Just sent THIEF (with James Caan) and BODY DOUBLE (classic DePalma).

Given that I have taken more than contributed, I have been trying to learn how to make some of these covers myself so that I can share as well. The GeorgiaHDTV tutorial is helpful, but I am using a Roxio Photosuite 5 program which is a little different than the Adobe Program. I obviously need more practice because none seem to look as professional as the ones shared here. In the meantime, has anyone scanned the "Paycheck" cover or made one for "National Treasure?"

Too busy this weekend to finish... here's a look

Updated.

I also added alphabetized targets to make scrolling a bit easier.

Site looks great. Looks like you forgot to add "Air Force One", which I sent you yesterday, but no biggie. Just letting RKPerk know I didn't forget his request.

Sorry, Brajesh, but I don't like Air Force One and have decided not to host the cover.

Just kidding-- I forgot to check the FTP site. It's up now.

Man tony, that looks great!
thanks. It could be better as I lost the original promo artwork I got when seeing the movie in a theater. All I had was a low res scan of it for the back images.

Garden state has been uploaded. I used to use ftp all the time in the 1980's... but took a while to remember all the ftp commands and what they do.
