You just beat me to posting about it! Yikes, hope Howard isn't out for more than the 2 games announced for a broken finger.. The Wings have quietly climbed into first place overall in the standings.

Ugly start, 3-1 Oilers, should be 3-0.

Yeah, Bertuzzi & Hudler are on fire, but where are Franzen & Filppula the last few games? Seems like we can't get them all going at once. If we did......

Anyway it was a treat to watch the Wings on the CBC.

I'm watching via Clear QAM rather than through the box. I am seeing a bit of pixellation, but I wouldn't call it a lot.

Yeah, seems a little bit-starved, but not awful.

Nope. Seems like typical NFL on WDIV-DT. Comcast in Westland, both on QAM and cable boxes.

Here's a new one. Needed to record "The Voice." So, I set it up to record "The Voice"at 10 plus "Local 4 News at 11." Makes sense, right? You always set for the next show just in case there's an overrun. Well, sometime during "The Voice" there must've been a forced guide update to account for the overrun. The recording I set for Local 4 News at 11 started promptly at 11:20 and caught all 39 minutes of the news. The recording I set for Fallon started right when that program actually began, too. Of course, this means I only got half of "The Voice." Go figure.

Can someone confirm the OTA status of WPXD. Is RF 50 on air, or just RF 31?
Haven't seen them back on rf 50 since they went off, the other day. Rf 31 is still up. Just checked that to confirm.

Well, that didn't last long. Still off (again) this afternoon. So much for the thought that today would be the day.
I made it easy to check. I configured 31.1 to come from rf 50 and the subchannels from rf 31
post #10967 of 11764
RF50 is up and running os of 1:30PM on 2/18....
Pretty recent, then. Wasn't up when I checked at 10am.

...and now it's down - again!

Hi. I'm a Comcast Triple-Play customer. The xfinity streampix showed up on my Ondemand screen, yet I can't access any of the programming. Comcast website says it's not available in my area, a phone rep tells me it's not live yet, but numerous websites announced that it went live today. I'm confused. Can you help? I'm in SEMI area if that's helpful. Actually, I'm there even if it's not's helpful.

The service went live today, but it's not here yet. I don't see what there is to be confused about. Comcast doesn't do anything all at once.

Thanks, but I tried it again later and it worked. No guarantee that it'll work today, but there it is.

WPXD, can anyone confirm what RF the station is currently broadcasting on?

They are not on 50, at least right now.

I can't normally get them on 31, but I can see a very low level signal on the meter, so I assume they are still on 31.

Cursory check confirms that. I looked several times over the weekend but never caught them on 50.

Yes, I tuned in and Shane said this was his last broadcast tonight. They had the set full of family and co-workers, and they all gave him a round of applause.

I wonder what the confusion on the date was?

No confusion. This all just came very suddenly today, and on 3/20 they will be giving him a proper sendoff in his actual final broadcast.
