"Trying to get AVScience to listen has been difficult at best." This I think you need to re-think. Why do you think their have been so many upgrades to the CI? Remember, AV Science does not make the unit...but sells them. BUT...it is Alan that has been able to tell AVS what is needed to be done to make the CI better. To this info we credit the feedback from users here on the site. He was able to get not just software changes for the users...but also a hardware change. All at NO COST. So he maybe missed your e-mail at one time or could not help you with you issue but referred you to the person that could. Alan receives over 100 e-mails a day looking for help and support (and sales). Most of the time for items he did not even sell. But he still tries to help non the less.
This is NOT the price you pay for buying over the Internet. AV Science stands out for their service and support, be it at the local sales level or over the net. Alan serves people world wide. I think you will find others here agree.
I just needed to say something because I know Alan would not. He is just not like that. I have known him for 5 years now and came to him as a customer. In the 5 year we have become great friends. I have never seen him not care about a customer.
BTW: Have you tried to adjust your blue gun to fix the baning issue. You might find this is the case.
