DSS: can run DSS and Roof Antenna (VHF/UHF/FM) on one RG-59 Coax Cable?

I'm planning on buying a HDTV DSS dish but currently have the "normal" coax in my house. My understanding is I need to run RG-59 coax for DSS. I need to get the DSS signal plus VHF/UHF/FM from my roof antenna into my audio/video components as well.

Is it possible to connect both the DSS and VHF/UHF/FM antenna to a single RG-59 to run into my house?

"Normal" coaxial cable is RG-59. You'll need RG-6 or better (RG-6QS, RG-11) for the satellite cable. Use one diplexor to combine the satellite and OTA feeds, and another to separate them at the DSS receiver.

Oops, I guess I got them mixed up. What is the diplexor you're talking about? How much do they cost? Do you know who sells them?? I've never heard of one.

Thanks,
Wayne
