I find it sad that for a city the size of Bakersfield, we have such a pitiful array of digital channels. It's almost as sad as the complete ghost-town nature of this thread.

Do you receive any adjacent markets such as LA or other areas?

At my house, I am able to receive KMPH Fox 26-1 Fresno. This station transmits from Visalia. I am not able to receive any other broadcasts from other markets.

You have more digital channels and especially HD channels in English than El Paso, Texas, a city of 650,000 people. We do not get MyNetwork in HD and you have KCET as a non-profit. We do have more channels on the air if you count all of the ones that broadcast from Juarez, Mexico.
