Hi,
I just recieved my first proc. DVDO Pro. The picture looks soft. Any comments? (Hookup: Sony7000 DVD, component connect, DVDO Pro, NEC XG135LC)
Thanks,

I would expect that you would want to scale much higher than 480P on your projector, wouldn't you? The scan lines should be way too obvious. If the scan lines aren't obvious at 480P then I'd say that the projector is badly out of focus.

When do you need to scale?
At what angular size?
If I'm a foot from my monitor, I appreciate its higher resolutions than 640X480.
If I'm 12 feet from my Zenith 32" TV, I can see the interlaced scan lines. I couldn't on my 27 ".
What's the ratio here? Of vertical size to distance away?

Hi,
Thanks for inputs. I use component connection and sharpness is not possible to adjust.
Thanks,

the iscan pro, distinct from the iscanV2, has a sharpness control on the front panel.
