Sorry for the delay! Thank you for bringing this to our attention Weather should be live now. The Universal Sports is actually going away and will be Antenna TV, which we plan on launching on channel 83 early 2012.We also submitted the request for the Knowledge Channel.

Thanks,

That should be active on ch. 111 (Basic Digital Only) in your area. Please PM us with the serial #'s of the boxes missing that channel and we'll be more than happy to troubleshoot. Sorry for the trouble.

Sorry if this is off topic, but is there any chance Moxi DVR boxes will be available in our area soon? I haven't had any personal experience with the Moxi, but my understanding is the Moxi is the only box that will let you program the DVR over the internet.

Abby,
That channel used to be on channel 111 but was replaced several weeks ago by co-owned WATL's DT-2 "Bounce TV.". TiVo and the Charter app shows WXIA DT-2 moving to channel 84, which Dylan confirmed and said should now be live--but isn't.

Good Morning,

We are in progress of phasing out the Moxi so there are no plans to expand it to other markets. Our current focus is on launching our TiVo boxes. We have them active in select markets now and will be continuing to launch it in additional markets through mid-2012. More info here: http://www.charter.com/TiVo

Did you have any other questions we could assist with?

Thanks,

Dylan

All of the information I have shows ch. 111 as "WATLDT2 WXIA-DT2 - NBC (11 Alive Weather)" including http://www.charter.com/channels/displayChannels.jsp. I am not showing anything on ch. 84 in your zip 30080. Is this what is showing up on your boxes?

Abby:
I'm going to try to attach two images. One shows the listing on my cable box for WATLDT2 which indicates "Soul Train" and other listings for "Bounce TV" on channel 111. The other shows the channel listings from charter's website indicating WXIADT2 is 11Alive Weather. Also there's this information from Dylan that indicates WXIADT3 (which will be Antenna TV after the first of the year) is coming to Channel 83:

I see what you mean now. I will check back with the source on this one and let you know what I can find.

Sounds great! Any chance it will be rolling out to our market area in 2012?

Yes indeed! Upon completion of the roll-out, the TiVo Premiere from Charter will be available to all of Charter customers, or potential customers, that live in an area with Video OnDemand service. We will continue introducing the new service on a market by market basis throughout 2012. If you need anything else just let us know.

I know it's not available yet in my area but I was reading up on TiVo Premiere from Charter and am definitely interested. Can you tell us what the pricing structure/options are?

Good afternoon,

I just heard back from our marketing team and that channel is now on 84. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.

Thanks,

Any chance of getting the Local on the 8's on the HD Weather Channel to actually be local weather?

Good morning Dave,

This is a limitation of the network. Please see answer #4 at http://www.weather.com/interact/cont...lforecast.html

Is that a permanent limitation or will it be addressed in the forseeable future? I just moved accross the county line to whee Charter has the cable franchise. At my old place,my former cable provider (I won't mention the other "C" word.) added the HD local on the 8's a couple of months ago. As I recall, they had to do work at the "head ends" (or whatever it is called) to accomplish this.

Greetings Dave,

That would be a question best answered by the network. At this point we are not receiving that portion of the feed in HD. Once TWC makes the appropriate upgrades, we will have that option available. We also have markets where they have made the HD upgrades already.

Any chance of more HD channels in the future? I personally would like to see Fox Business and WGN in HD. WGN has LOTS of sports.

Per local marketing manager, "We do plan on launching additional HD channels in 2012, but the exact ones have not been determined yet, nor a set date." Sorry we do not have more specific information at this time. If you have any other questions or need help with service, feel free to send us a PM.

The new 7/1/12 channel listing for Charter Gwinnett (Duluth) GA shows both channel 843 and 846 as GSN HD. I was wondering if one of those channels might be something else (hopefully more interesting).

It will be good to have WGN HD, and maybe OK for G4 HD and TVLAND HD. It would be even better to add Fox Business HD.
