Harlingen, TX - HDTV - Page 9

DirecTV has been doing RGV locals since December, Dish Network locals have been going since mid March.

I still haven't been able to find you, on top of that, I don't have program data for KVEO-DT when I use my Dish DVR to record Over The Air
post #242 of 646
KTLM is currently testing their digital signal right now on ch 40.

Another note of interest: XHRIO has been assigned DT 26. Look on page 2 of the following link.

The program data (PSIP) information is encoded into the data stream of the digital transmitter. So if you can't get KVEO-DT than you do not have the data.

I have no explanation for why you can't get KVEO-DT. It is co-located with channel 23 KVEO Analog. Try putting in Channel 24 into you tunner. See if that works. I have had one viewer where that corrected the problem.

My Corporate Chief engineer has corrected me and mentioned that Dish DVR gets it Over The Air information from Tribune Media.

We have worked with them with little success in the past.

Did you ever get this resolved? I am getting 7.1 and 9.1 with strong signal and very nice picture but no audio. I even tried directly through my TV and I get the same thing. No audio whatsoever. My signal is in the 80s...

If your remote has an audio or SAP button, try pressing it. The same thing happened to me with XERV and a few of the other stations and this is how I was able to fix it. If that doesn't work, then I don't know what the problem could be.

does any one knows when telemundo gona start to broadcast on digital?
Telemundo plans on making a flash cut to Digital on June 12 the day Analog is shut down. I understand they have modified part of their transmitter for Digital. The analog and digital will be on the same channel, so they can not have both on at the same time.

for me its 117-5 (117.5), since you (and I) are using QAM tuners these channels may change to different channels.

Thanks for putting the channel guide info together. That is very helpful.

If anyone in the Valley is looking for a good deal on a 58" Panasonic Plasma, I have one for sale. Only one-year-old, and still under warranty.

PM me if you are interested.

Thanks, for posting the Time Warner RGV QAM channel list.Does anyone else notice that some channels look very bright on Time Warner?
the QAM list is very nice, but does anyone know if they are ever gonna add more HD channels? I remember last summer when they added USA HD and CNBC HD+ specifically for the Olympics and that was it. I moved to an area of Texas served by Suddenlink Communications and their HD line-up puts this line up to complete and utter shame. Suddenlink is the 8th largest cable provider...TWC is 2nd last time I checked.
