Seems like we'll have to scan whenever a channel disappears. Could you all update the spreadsheet whenever you notice a change. I'll try updating with the changes so far but I don't get all of the channels. I need to have the wiring redone is this house. Cheers!

As far as getting to the service menu.
I have "Sara" software on my SA8300HD box from TWC. On mine, to get to the diagnostic menu, I press and hold the little button that is in the center of the channel and volume buttons on the front of the set-top-box. On mine, it has a small "+" on it.

After holding it depressed for a few seconds the e-mail LED on the front of the unit will start to flash. While the e-mail LED is flashing, press the "Info" button on the front of the box. The diagnostic menu will appear. Once it is visible, pressing the "+" one or more times will make the diagnostic menu translucent so you can still see the program behind it.

Use the volume up/down to go through the various diagnostic pages, use the
"Exit" button to return to your normal viewing mode.

64-3 ESPN2 HD

not working for me.

anyone else having this problem ?
I don't get ESPN2 either. Appear the channel is scrambled. I'll do a re-scan & see if I can find it. I'm adding back the Musak channels as they used to be part of the spreadsheet but it appears someone might have removed them.

Spoke too soon! Hadn't noticed the Musak channels were put on a seperate sheet on the same spreadsheet. I guess I'll look for ESPN2 now hope it ain't gone.

DirecTV just added Univision HD on channel 402 and Telefutura HDw on channel 408, however, the locals of these channels showing on DirecTV are still SD.

Does anyone know if these local feeds will ever flip the switch to HD?

It was mentioned in the press release that they (DirecTV) would likely begin offering some of the local Univisions and TeleFuturas in HD. Of course, it has to be offered in HD locally before DirecTV can provide it that way.

I was hoping Univision(knvo) would go HD before the World Cup began, but it looks like that won't happen anytime soon.

Showing the World Cup in HD has been one of the big talking points for commentators on Univision/Telefutura over the last few months most especially during the Primera Division soccer broadcasts.

I'm glad to at least have the Univision national feed in HD as they have some playoff soccer games this weekend.

Time Warner's latest public notice (on upcoming line up changes) says they will be adding KNVO Univision HD on ch 885 and KTFV Telefutura HD on ch 887. It doesn't say when. KTFV doesn't have a digital signal yet but Entravision does have a construction permit for KFTN (on DT23) which is also airs Telefutura. If you believe the FCC's coverage map, KFTN is supposed to reach areas from Mission to Brownsville.

"knvo ch 48 is in the process of transition to hd. We believe that we will be fully hd in time for the world cup series on june 11th. Telefutura will become hd at a later undetermined date.

You will be able to enjoy your univision programming in hd.

Thank you for your interest in our programming.

That's great news. Thanks for posting the info.

Has any one found out the QAM channel for Knvo 48 in HD?Is it out yet or not?
I'm currently away from the Valley so I can't see for my self and I don't particularly care about KNVO in HD for Univision, I'm more interested in what it means for XHRIO.....Is Entravision doing both in HD on the same channel? What about Telefutura HD?

Like I said I can't see for myself and I haven't read anything that mentions it. Just that they have a permit to build another DT transmitter or something to that affect...

Maybe I just misread something, I'm trying to make sense of everything. Since I was last in Harlingen a month ago things have certainly changed.
XHRIO (Fox in HD) is also available on KSFE (DT20) 67.1. But KSFE is a low power station so their coverage area is smaller than KNVO's. KSFE has been on the air since about October. So far Univision is still not HD on KNVO's signal.
Univision is now transmitting in HD but not XHRIO (Fox in HD)
