Just a shout out to MP2. So far it is exceeds all my expectations. I loved MP and now MP2 is just even better. After playing the demo i thought well this is cool, but after playing the actual game I'm blown awy all over again. Can't wait to get home.

I haven't tried the multiplayer yet, but to be honest I didn't buy it for that, just like I didn't buy halo 2 for the campaign. :)

I saw that at the store yesterday as well. But I was already sold on Baten Kaitos. Between finishing BK (which will take awhile considering time of year and school scheduling), MP2, and the new Metal Gear, Ill have my plate filled for a few months to come.

This game is monumental, especially for home-theatre enthusaists. Don't let it get lost in the shuffle. They have refined every aspect of the first game. Most notably, they have improved the the pacing making you totally addicted to exploring. Also, the ambient music is much more subtle this time around. And Retro has the best damned artists in the business, hands-down. The game's an interactive work of art.

Kudos to Retro and Nintendo. It may not sell incredibly well, but it's an incredible game.

It is a great game. Puzzles are much harder than in the first Metroid Prime. Very happy with it so far.

How does Echoes compare with the first Metroid Prime game in terms of graphics in progressive mode? I won't have the chance to play Echoes for a while on my new Sony 34XS955, and I'm wondering if it's an improvement over the previous (which was really good). IIRC, the first one didn't have a true widescreen mode, is it the same deal with Echoes??

Graphics are slightly better IMO, seems to have even more polygons on enemies, etc as well. Better lighting effects also. The level designs are quite a bit up but all in all it feels like the first Prime..

No true widescreen support, just the screen stretch option to make it feel pretty much correct at 16:9.

I loved the first prime but I just cant stand using that crappy gamecube controller.
The freaking thing is way to small. WHen ever I try to use a super misscle, I always end up as the morph ball because the gd buttons are to close together.

I wish a third part would make a MANSIZE gamecube controller.
