Anybody ever listen to a Dayton Titanic MK III?

Any thoughts compared to a similarly priced Hsu or SVS?

Here we go again, another SVS versus HSU and then throw in Dayton. This has been beat to death.

I agree, but could someone then start a FAQ thread so that it is easier to find all of these discussions?

Well actually, I'm not asking to compare Hsu to SVS. I found all of that stuff and I'm asking if anybody has heard a Dayton compared to one of the others.

I dont know why everyone gets so jumpy at a simple comparison question. This is a subwoofer discussion...

Can't help you with any actual experience, but the design of the Dayton, a small sealed box, suggests that it will not play as loud or as deep as the larger vented SVS and Hsu. Generally speaking, loud and deep is more important for HT than it is for music. In addition, certain music lovers swear by sealed box designs for a "tighter" (more accurate?) bass. It's subjective though.

I tried to start a similar thread some time ago, but could not find anyone to post about the Titanic. I ended up getting a killer deal on the Outlaw LFM-1, so it kind of made my decision for me.
