based upon the reviews, I am almost sold on the dayton. I haven't really heard anything bad about it. but, I have also seen the bic v1020 for $165. I haven't really seen too many reviews on it, but it was said at homertheaterforum that bic was a subsidiary of hsu. can anyone compare the two for me? quick specs are:
dayton-
-100 watt subwoofer amplifier w/ 10" long throw woofer
-Frequency response: 25-160 Hz

bic-
-High power BASH amplifier with 250 RMS watts
-heavy-duty long excursion 10" woofer
-Frequency Response- 26- 180 Hz
-Venturi ported with adjustable crossover, automatic signal sensing, and high level inputs as well as both Dolby Pro Logic and Dolby Digital/ DTS inputs
-Limited Warranty- 7 years Parts & Labor on driver, 2 years on amplifier & associated electronics.
