2 Jbl E250 Or Svs Pb10 Isd

I'M TIRING TO DECIDE BETWEEN 2 JBL E250'S OR 1 SVS PB10 ISD THE ROOM IS ON THE SMALL SIDE AND I COULD GET BOTH FOR THE SAME PRICE THIS WOULD BE USED 95% OF THE TIME FOR MOVIES

Speculating, the dual JBL's may have more output above 27Hz, and the single SVS will have more output below that point. Try to find a freq response for the E250.

THERE WAS A ARTICLE IN SOUND AND VISION THAT SHOWED THE OUTPUT ON 2 E250 AT 121DB AT 62HZ , 100DB AT 40HZ AND 80DB AT 2OHZ WILL THIS KIND OF SHARP FALL OFF MAKE THE SOUND VERY BOOMY FOR MOVIES OR IS THAT MAINLY A PROBLEM FOR MUSIC

Exactly what I thought. Judging by those numbers, looks like the E250 has weak low end but lots of midbass output. I would definitly go with a single PB10, or you will be missing out on some of the good low-bass material.

1 sub. I would choose 1 SVS. There is nothing to gain by using 2 wimpy subs over 1 good sub.

Here is the difference between 1 or 2 SVS PB10's. (see pic)
Subs are stacked in the corner, mic is 12 feet away in the listening position (my seat).
