6600GT AGP and custom timings, please help!

Hi,
I have purchased a XFX 6600GT AGP with DUAL DVI.
I know that custom timings are enabled only on the DVI output connected to the external TDMS transmitter but I've tried both the DVI output with no luck.
I'm using driver version 67.03 and coolbit.
I would like to have custom timings enabled in order to get 1920x1080 @24psf resolution on my HS-10. How to enable them?
I've also tried Powerstrip 3.54 with no success.

try the 67.20 Quadro drivers from Guru3d.... also pick up the patched .inf file for your 6600....

OK, I've downloaded 67.20 but cannot find the patched .inf file. What is its function?
Anyone with custom timings working?

I have the same video card and a I think I have the same problem. The card recognizes my NEC monitor and my samsung hln series dlp. It gives me the option to enter custom timings for the monitor but not for the TV. Its really bothering me cause the only way I can get rid of overscan on my TV is by using custom timings. I posted here before and I don't know if there is a solution, I think it just won't allow custom timings for some devices.

the 71.20 are the newest if that was what you meant

Hi,
thanks to all. I've tried 71.20 and 67.22 driver version. Both of them has enabled custom timings but they doesn't work very well. If I set 1920x1080 @24PsF the driver accept it but the resolution don't change.
I've tried with Powerstrip and I can get 1:1 mapping with 1368x768 but if I set these timings:
PowerStrip timing parameters:
1920x1080=1920,88,44,148,1080,4,5,36,59400,2048

Generic timing details for 1920x1080:
HFP=88 HSW=44 HBP=148 kHz=27 VFP=4 VSW=5 VBP=36 Hz=24

Linux modeline parameters:
"1920x1080" 59.400 1920 2008 2052 2200 1080 1084 1089 1125 +hsync +vsync

my HS-10 report out of range.

Vern, can you please show your Powerstrip (or NVidia custom timings) parameter for 1920x1080 @24PsF ?

It will if you do it enough times. Also be aware that 50 and 60 Hz refresh rates are swapped in the control panel.

Thanks and sorry for not having found your post...
However with your timings (@24pSf) and driver 67.22 the image on my HS-10 is very unstable and unwatchable.
Have I to try other driver version or other timings?

You have to be at 7120 or later. Even then, using the advanced timings window to manually input the data will cause issues. First, make sure you are outputiing 1080I 60. This may require selecting 1080I 50 in the control panel. Verify it with your projector.

Then select the 1920x1080@47.95Hz in the list. IMHO, on the Qualia, there appears to be no real advantage to doing 24PsF over 60I. Let the NVidia video card or the projector do the de-interlacing.
