Ironically, M-I Connection, the municipal owned cable company serving Cornelius, Davidson, & Mooresville, (North Mecklenburg & S. Iredell) does seem to carry RTV, TUFF and Family. M-I connection took over the assets of Adelphia Cable (except for Huntersville) when that company failed. I don't know how well since I got this info from their website.
WHKY does not make it easy to receive these channels unless you live in Catawba county or just the right spot in S.E. Charlotte. And even if you are in S. Charlotte and can receive their very low power translator, I've been told by someone who lives there with an antenna that it drops a lot. I recently turned my big antenna away from Hickory so I could better receive the Charlotte channels (mainly WBTV) and so I currently don't receive them. Here in Huntersville there is simply no way I can receive their translator in Charlotte even with a DB8 + amp pointed right at their transmitter.
It's really a shame. I like some of the programming on their channels. They even show Movin' On, a early 1970s TV show that had a lot of location shots filmed right in Charlotte and the Marvin Show on Tuff which is produced in Florence & Conway, SC.
