ESPN's publisher Take-Two, which also publishes the Grand Theft Auto series, apparently has the right to flat out purchase Visual Concepts and Kush Games (ESPN's other producer) from Sega. This news comes after Take-Two already purchased Indie Built from Microsoft (Top Spin, Amped/2, and Links) as well as Venom (British sports developer founded by former staffers of Rare). As the article from Gamespot suggests, Take-Two is serious about sports and considers the sports genre fair game.

I'd like to see them attack EA where they are vulnerable - the college sports genre. And baseball.

I've decided to boycott them, anybody hear about how they treat there employees?

Screw em they'll end up being there own enemy and gamers will see there are much better games out there.
