NFSU2 widescreen custom resolution?

has anyone figured out a way to get NFSU 2 to work at widescreen resolutions, such as 1280x720 ? i cant imagine that NFSU 1 would have the feature, but NFSU2 not.

Dallas jose , did u figure this out yet ?

if you go to widescreengaming forum, you will find it under pc gaming solutions. in the thread titled widescreen.exe hacks(on the second page) you should find a link to a patch. hope this helps
