I've noticed a few of these threads in the past but they have seemed to mostly die off for a while. So let's start a new one for the new year. These are pics of my new Panasonic TH-42PD25UP that I received just before Christmas. I did the install myself using a Sanus VMPL50 tilt wall mount. Let's see your pics as well!

Just a suggestion but you guys might want to post your setup details as well to keep from having so many posts asking "what brand is that X?" It would be cool if people listed their DVD player, Receiver, Speakers, in addition to the TV and stand or furniture brand, etc.

We actually found that at Target for $99! We bought it about a year ago and I don't remember the brand name. It doesn't appear to be on their website anymore...

Thanks! We actually had those lights put in when we were building our house specifically for those prints. The third one that you can just see the edge of in the first pic is 'The Discerning Guests'.

Before we built the house I had always envisioned some day a plasma hanging there with the prints. Then when it came time to install it I realized that it would be ridiculous to put it that high, which is how it ended up where it is. I put it just high enough so that none of the plasma is blocked by the center speaker when you are sitting down.

I would appreciate somebody telling me how to paste the pics into the message like Halo0's thread starter. When I try to attach them, it works about 50% of the time even though I follow the same steps each time.

Your setup looks very high tech and futuristic until I saw the speakers, they look like my Dad's growing up with Chuck Mangione or ABBA on the LP.

To be able to do what halo0 did the pics must be hosted on a server in the great cybersystem we call the internet. Then you use the [ img]www.yourhostsite.com/my.jpg [ /img] (get rid of the spaces after the [. :)

for example, typing [ img]http://www.feebleminds-gifs.com/jan1.gif[ /img] results in:

Haha, I do agree those speakers could use a facelift. But the way that Sony costs, somethings gotta take a cut. The wall is custom design, it has backlight behind that frame looking woodwork, and the square behind the plasma is stone, or whatever you call it. And the brown stuff around the stone is fabric! :p

Thanks Rich. I'll just try the old attachment game again.

Here, hopefully, is a pic of my Pioneer Elite Pro-1120HD with Gallo Ref 3s and Gallo Due center. I will post another with the wall unit where the rest of the components are hiding. I used a Chief tilt mount with the cables and cord going through the wall and down into the garage until they come back up behind the "rack."

That is one funky looking center channel on the floor iunderneath your plasma. :)

and before anyone thinks I've lost it, I do know what it actually is.

Also you need at least 5 posts before you can attach pics...so you may have had to few posts.

Did I mention y'all have very nice setups? :D
