JVC's web site is offering these at "big savings". It seems you have to get them through a JVC dealer.

Has anyone been through this process and what are the resulting savings?

Nope, but debating on acquiring a W-VHS.....waiting for 169time to come through is getting old, and trying to obtain a Panny combo (plus a Dish Network) is more $$$ and hassle than it's worth.

I don't have a list for W-VHS pre-recorded movies(hence my post) but am trying to find out what was released commercially.

Currently I have the MUSE Hi-Vision laserdisc setup

I'd like to find out what pre-recorded movies are available on W-VHS (Japan only). I know movies like Shine, Deperado, and others were released (and almost as expensive as the HD- laser movies)
