24 - on FOX in HDTV  

Too bad I have a Samsung 360 and probably won't be able to watch it in HD with the audio sync being off...

I have a Samsung 360 and will be watching it with the audio IN sync.

Planning on HD Tivo'ing the west coast feed of this tonight. I hope it looks better than other FOX HD episodic programming....

WVTV in Tampa is looking good. No problems with PQ or 5.1 sound.

Still no HD in Indianapolis. People need to call 317-632-5900 and tell the news room you need to speak to the control room and that the it needs to be switched over to the HD feed.

Not a big fan of the show (looking forward to Carnivale in HD though), and glad I'm not, because it's not good on the 360 channel 88 at all...

That is because the data rate is 8Mbps. Way low for HD in my opinion.

Over here in Comcast Essex NJ it looks pretty damn good to me. The 5.1 audio is spot on. Office phones ringing like their right behind you. Picture looks pretty good to me. Of course this is my first time seeing it in HD. I thought last season was HD also. Guess I was wrong. This is my show so I guess it's going to looke fantastic to me no matter what.

Ok after watching it for an hour I will say this. Some scenes look as detailed as they come yet others look like a real good 480p source. The "frame" scenes (you know where they show different action going on in different places in boxes at the same time, usually when the episode is over) look like SD sources.

HD on WJW/Cleveland tonight, both OTA and on Adelphia.

The second hour appears to be a repeat and appears to be in FOX Widescreen as opposed to HD.

Would have been nice if Ford had sponsored it "no commercial interruptions". We get another two hours of so-so HD but excellent 5.1.

Or you could have your own "no commercial interruptions" sponsored by yourself and Tivo. Probably could have saved myself 40 minutes tonight if I had HD Tivo. :(

2 more hours tomorrow night too. That's 1/6th of the season all in 2 days

Looked great here in Philly WTXF-DT FOX 29 OTA.

I agree, not the most crisp HD - but it seemed almost like a more film-like HD, perhaps on purpose.

DD sounded great, and the 16:9 picture makes my living room shine - I really enjoyed it.

Couldn't watch OTA Fox-25 here in Boston nor Channel 88 without Audio Sync issues and slow choppy scenes. Switched to SD, totally unacceptable. :mad:

Same here in Memphis, watching channel 88. Audio seemed to be fine but the video sucked! Stuttered constantly. BUt what was worse, ALL the stupid commercials were fine. No video stuttering or audio issues, but the second it cut back to the show, the video went to hell.

Annoying to say the least. I was so looking forward to watching '24' in HD, and I had to watch the stupid SD version.

Watching on a Samsung TS360, is that the issue?

Looked pretty good in DC OTA, but the 720p PQ paled in comparison to a quick look at Desparate Housewives.

DD 5.1 sounded very good, and the presentation was flawless.
