This week I will test with a Benq 23" Monitor to see if I have any success via DVI or VGA. My card might be defective or I will have to use the component input on the Dell. It can accept a 1080i signal.
Another test which I would strongly suggest is
1- Record a 1920x1080i HDTV stream using MyHD-130
2- Play back this stream using only you graphic card (model?) and its DVI connecton to your Dell 2405. I assume your grahic card and processor can handle MPEG-2 decoding.
3- If this shows a good image on the Dell 2405 verus what you see using the MyHD-130 DVI daughter card, then something is WRONG with MyHD-130.
Question for Cliff Watson:
Shouldn't the DVI signal produced in 2 and 3 above be indentical?
And to the extent the image seen on the Dell 2405 is different it would show a defect in MyHD-130+daughter card hardware/software?
