T2 Hidden Movie

I got my T2 Ulitmate Edition DVD today. I tested to see if I could get to the Hidden Version of the film. Sure enough, it is there, and I started to watch it. But, decided to stop watching because this movie needs more than a 27" TV screen. I need to step up to the projector as soon as possible http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif -Pat

Hello,

I have not heard of this Hidden movie on the T2 disc. What is it? How do you find it?

Thanks,

Brian

This would be the alternate ending with an additional 3.5 minutes longer than the "special Edition" I presume?

On the Ultimate Edition DVD, you get to the "hidden" movie from the Special Edition menu. On the right side there are boxes with roman numeral symbols in them. If you press the numbers on your remote that corresponds with the roman numeral, one at a time, then each box lights up with a word. Each number box then becomes "The" "Future" "Is" "Not" "Set". I believe the sequence is 8 2 9 9 7, corresponding to August 29, 1997, Judgement Day, as it is called by "the survivors of the nuclear fire...". After you have brought up the words, then BOTH eyes on the endo-skeleton appearing on the menu screen light up and then there is a new option, Play Extended Special Edition. I only watched the first few scenes, so I can't say what is different. I have heard that there is an alternate ending, as well as, the extended scenes from the special edition of the movie. -Pat

You can also press the title button on your remote and choose title 3. Title 1 is theatrical, 2 is directors cut, 3 is extended directors cut.

extended add's scene with terminator going through John's bedroom and a different ending.

That sure is a heck of lot easier! I didn't know that. That could have saved me a bunch of button pushin' http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/smile.gif
