Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon No Longer with English...

Those lovely people at ERA the distributors of R3 Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon have confirmed that the next batch of CTHD DVDs will NOT have the English Audio track or English Subtitles.

Free Trade? Who wants it? Columbia Tristar certainly don't.

If you have not received your R3 CTHD from your supplier you should contact them immediately. If you do have the R3 then we suggest that you enjoy it for it is now something of a rarity. The R1 disc is expected to include a "Making Of" whenever it gets released pending the Oscar situation.

Just ordered mine (region 3) from a guy in Hong Kong. I hope it has English subtitles!

What about this region 0 disk that several folks are talking about in the other CTHD here? They claim it is the same transfer as R3, etc. I just ordered one myself.

Ix, There is a genuine Malaysian R0 that is identical to the R3 but missing the Trailer.

There is also a Pirate R0 that has not extras other than the Trailer.

Are any of the R0 copies of CTHD dual layer like the R3 version? I have one of the R0 versions, and it looks noticeably compressed in comparison to the R3. The R0 seems to be compressed onto a single layer, at least the one I have. Does anyone notice this observation?
