List of Very Touching Movies (DVD)

Just watched "The Other Sister" and found it to be very moving. Made me laugh and made me cry, well almost. Also found "King of Mask" very engrossing. I've watched many movies and found these 2 to be one of my favourites.

Can someone please list down also other touching movies that can invoke ones emotion big time like the above 2 titles? My wife and myself are really into these type of movies nowdays. Thanks.

Shawshank Redemption
The Hurricane
Green Mile
Schindler's List

They choke me up every time, especially the happy ending of Shawshank. Its one of my alltime favorites.

OK, it may be a little seasonal, but I get a little misty during the scene with the Dutch girl during the original Miracle on 34th Street.

Are you kidding me? Try sitting through The Sorrow and the Pity for 4 hours depicting the real holocaust and you;ll find out what real sadness is all about. I hate the Begnini creep anyway.

Try the upcoming "Dancer In The Dark" from New Line. When I saw it in the theater, I had to gather myself together before I could walk out. I stayed there for all of the credits.

May I suggest Grave Of The Fireflies?

This is an anime who won for "Best Animated Feature Film" at the 1994 Chicago International Children's Film Festival.

This movie is one of the most touching I've ever seen.

The Insider (Al Pacino, Russel Crowe, Christopher Plummer)
Excellent REAL story. Good direction. Good acting. Good soundtrack. Good all around.

Runaway Train: (Jon Voight, Eric Roberts, Rebecca De Mornay)
Very POWERFUL.

Baraka:
No dialouge and you can't look away.

Don't know if its going to be on DVD, but:

This is My Father (with James Cann)
