N.B.: I have checked sound config in my Wii I have set it to Surround (others choice was mono or stereo).
The Pioneer doesn't automatically detect and configure for ProLogic encoded material.
YOU have to decide which of the many Synthethic Surround modes you want to envoke...if any...
All two-channel material is "by definition" Stereo.
BTW: Many purists don't want the Stereo signal mucked up with that new-fangled, unnatural,
stereo-separation-sucking, noise-pumping, and very synthethic Matrixed Surround Stuff......
