A controversial (CBS) topic!!

Who really is Hardrock?

I suspect none other than Dave "damion" Game or another friendly WFOR employee. Ofcoarse, this is only a thoery but lets exmine the facts.

1) He magically appears just before CBS arrives tardy to Maimi market!

2) The very first thing he does is attack south FL viewers. Dave Game is famious for this.

3) Then Bob Ross requests viewer OTA ginea pigs. He wants coverage maps!!

4) What ordinary friendly HDTV viewer is going to overflood a forum with maps that help "just one station???." No not Fox or even PBS. To spell it clearly... WFOR!!

5) No superhero or AVS power user was more activate that Hardrock. Now he is conviently gone!

6) I knew this all along. I even asked Hardrock for his broadcaster passort. He avoided the ? all together.

7) This is one of the reasons for Bra's gag order(TM). Ofcoarse... their is also HDTV "integraty" and 8VSB pride!!

>>Hypothesis by BRA....

1) If this is remotely true, WFOR deserves further shame!!

2) I enjoyed Hardrocks pictures(NOT MAPS) more than anyone else!! Call it stress relief.

3) I allowed Hardrock to take over. Bra needs AVS rest.

4) More importantly, I was watching very closely who was good and naughty!!

5) There are plently of fake HDTVers in south FL threads. They are called BROADCASTERS. Not a crime but....

6) I get very upset when NEW posters want to take WFOR employees out for Dinner!!

7) On a final note..I have nothing against Bob Ross. He may be a good person but he is not Clark Kent(TM).

Who the heck is this Rodmanbra? http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/confused.gif

Is it a real person, or an amalgram? I bet his job all day long is to create Powerpoint slide presentations - that would explain his limited ability to communicate - only via bullet points! http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

The nuns in Catholic school used to rap my knuckles raw 'cause I was a lousy speller. Rodmanbra would not have survived - period. http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I mean, this is all in fun, right? There is really no Rodmanbra - it's just Alan "Thank You Very Much" Gouger goofin' on us.

I mean, help me out here folks. If Rodmanbra is for real, well...
well...
well...

I'm in awe and not worthy!

I would not mess with the "Bra". He is not too articulate, but he keeps coming at ya.

Funny...Hardrock was the name given to ABC Corporate headquarters many years ago. CBS was called Black Rock and NBC 100 Rock.

Hey, I can do this stream of conciousness thing too (or is it an excuse to change the topic in mid-thread) http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/confused.gif

I was on my bike yesterday, peddling through some neighborhoods that are nearby but unknown to me. I was peddling furiously up a hill and at the top were three homes with two "E" dishes installed - alerting me to the fact that these homes were watching HD! Wow, 3 HD-watching homes right next to each other. Cool. I can't remember the name of the particular street, but it's just off Old Columbia Pike near Annandale in northern VA.

Question: do I go up, knock on the door, and introduce myself as a video enthusiast?

Gireesh,

Be very afraid! I even own some property in Coral Springs.hehe! More disappointing...you started a thread which got 500+ replies. Instead of supporting local HDTV you were putting on party hat in CA!!
