With all of the talk from TV stations saying that there have not been enough HDTV sets sold, does anyone really know how many have been sold?
Any body care to take a rough guess.

CBS, which broadcasts most of its prime-time schedule in the high-definition format, is hoping the wider availability of its digital programming could help drive the sale of HDTV sets. Viewers without HDTV sets can't see the improved quality of digital transmissions, and it is estimated that fewer than one million homes in the U.S. have HDTV sets.
