Saw this on plates on a white Explorer near my home off Lincoln Ave and wondered if it was one of us, or something totally different. Any Phoenix folks know this feller?

The newsletter is in the making right now for next week. And if you look at the last newsletter(current one) it was a 2 week special edition still good till tomorrow !

I will mail out the new one tonight. I had a busy week and didn't had much time for the HDTV hobby. But I posted some news already on the website yesterday. There is a link to an article from Braodcasting&Cable Mag about the KPHO situation.

Oh, BTW: purty HD.... I see ... hmm

PS: I just came home form the Audio&Video Expo. I have a new toy on my wishlist: A Sharp DLP FrontProjector for "just" $10K ! A good DLP used to go for $20K just last month ago ! Now Sharp is slashing that DLP category in 1/2.
Don't have the funds for it right now.. but I think that will be my next HDTV upgrade, hopefully next year. I will than just settle for some "cheap" speakers for a while and upgrade those later. I can't believe seeing a DLP projector scratching the 4 digit dollar zone already. ($9999)

See the Audio Video Improvements forum for my notes on the Phoenix Audio Video Expo. Darrel, I missed you there!!!
And yes, I gave the Sharp DLP a sharp rating!!!

I like to think it meant Purty (Texan for Pretty), but you may well be right.

I miss the HDTV Society newsletters and schedule, BTW. I have torches and pitchforks if we decide to storm KPHO.

I'm thinking you guys may not be joking about not seeing this message. To me it's obviously "Parrot Head." Take a gander at http://www.margaritaville.com/.

You get the GRAND PRIZE - a thank you from all of us. And I've got a whole bunch of old original Jimmy Buffet LPs, too, and he recently played here in Phoenix!!!
