Happy News From Crawford, Tex.

It was reported today that, in a dramatic show of leadership and against the wish of his mother Barbara Bush, the President has decided to wear his boots over his pants at his ranch in Texas. Asked about the political significance a White House spokeman said that it shows great courage, determination and flair. *The Bush administration is on the right track on this one*, he emphasised. Observers agree that this was a political coup for the President. Approval rating for the President jumped to 65% after the report. GF.

I'm happy because:
  • ALIAS is in georgous HD with DD5.1
  • The remastered DVD of Dr Zhivago is stunning and well worth the wait
  • The winter Olympics will be in HD (well, some of it anyway)
  • Alan is in love with his new Teranex
  • My refinance went through (5.75% - woo hoo)
  • I got laid last weekend :D

Hate Richard Burton's legs in Cleopatra. He looks silly in his Roman outfit. On the other hand I found Rex Harrison truly handsome in the toga. What's your opinion?

When I first saw your list my first reaction was "why is 'got laid' at the bottom?"

So I started thinking about how I would shake things to move it up the list... let me tell you, bro, easier said than done. That is a happy list :)
