Halo2 CE Mod for the PC

Probably old news for those into Halo PC but it looks like a Halo2 mod for Halo CE has come out or has been out. Really cool stuff. Too bad I still suck at the KB/Mouse combo. :( Supposedly, all you need is a valid Halo PC CD key, download the mods and you're set. I'll have to try this out tonight and maybe buy an XBOX to USB adaptor to hook up to the HTPC to play. ;)

It's just nuts that these guys recreated everything from scratch and didn't import anything from Halo2 on the XBOX.

Huh, no I hadn't heard about it, thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately Halo PC runs pretty bad for me so I'll probably still play Halo 2 on the Xbox instead of this for now.

Anybody here try it out yet? I downloaded the files but got caught up with Halo2 on the XBOX before attempting to install it last night.

I downloaded and installed the mod last night. Its not quite what I thought it was going to be. I thought it would actually be very close to halo 2, and not just the maps. I Anticipated dual weilding of weapons, and not just some "special" SMGs lying around. I would probably have more fun if there were more people playing online.
