I own 2 Panerai, a Luminor Submersible on a ti & steel braclet and a GMT on a croc strap with deployment buckle. My Panerai watch are some of my favorite and look good dress up or down and keep excellent time for a mechanical watch.

Anyone else here own a Panerai?

QQQ - what is this watch, anyway?

I went to the URL associated with the pic, but there was no caption.

Nice design.

I love my 111 :) Haven't swapped bands in a while, but i have 6 already. You really can change the look of it to match the occasioin.

The new Omega Planet Ocean is probably my next watch---with orange bezel and orange strap

Century Time Gem. No idea how much it runs but I think it falls into the category of "if you have to ask..."

http://www.century.ch/en/main.html

It's the "Empire" which they unfortunately only show in one finsh on their web site.

Sorry Richie,
That's the NEW Lotus Elise available in the U.S.
You'll be glad to know that the ultra-lite fiberglass body is made in France.
Also, the chassis is made of bonded extruded aluminum in the U.K. and the engine is Japanese (Toyota 22Z-GE).
Nice guess, try again...

Hey guys, I clicked on www.abay-usa.com and it looks like he's pulled his replica watch website off the net. Does anyone know if he opened another site and if so, what's the link?

I saw that the top looked a little bit different but the rest of the body is vintage 1970 Muira, Maurice Ronet's car in Plein Soleil. Myself owned an Aston Martin DB 4 in that time. Lamborghini should sue lotus.

Richie

How do you and all of your Frenchmen like that Lance won an unprecedented 7 straight Tour de France? :p

It must be a bitter pill to swallow--sort of like hemlock.

We think he cheated of course..

Just another lame comment

Of course you would have said that, but that is what makes you a Frenchman and me an American. BTW, he gives all of the prize money to his team, something I am sure no Frenchman would ever do
post #530 of 562
It is a tradition. The winner always do it. They cannot win without their team.

As I said, it is nothing a Frenchman would do.

I agree.

Frantz when are you coming out here?

I am anxious for you to hear the Lamm amps with the X-2's
post #534 of 562
Now seriously. Armstrong always prepared himself very well for the Tour, running just a few races a year, keeping all his energy for the Tour. By comparison Eddy Merkx ran over 160 races a year on average. I think he is not the greatest. Eddy Merkx and others won many more races than him (many, many more), and still managed to win the Tour five times. He just concentrated on the Tour. He could not have done that in the old days. An European sponsor would not have allowed it.

Encore....c'est le canard :( :o

Instead of sniping each other let's talk about watches.
here is one of my favorites:

Hamilton is part of the swatch group and the movement used is the same that is used in their most expensive chronographs. This watch can be bought for less than $800 if you look around.

They all did it: Bobet, Anquetil, Hainault.. They also won the Tour of Italy, the Tour of Spain, Paris-Roubaix, Liege-Bastogne-Liege, Le Dauphine Libere.. This year Armstrong ran only four races. If they were something in cycling like in Tennis or Formula 1 racing, Armstrong would never have finished first one year.

I don't know if this show has been mentioned here but it's a must see for watch lovers.

Whatever you do, don't miss "Masters of Time" showing on HDNet.

I think you all will be absolutely fascinated.
