Locke is responsible for the character's death...but not in the way you think, this person dies because of something Locke has done.

She also says to expect more "creeeeepy" stuff from Walt before the end of the season.

Well, I guess we should call this thread, "Lost & the Rules of Spoiler Tag use" since this is probably the fourth time it has come up here...

anyways...

Whether or not we knew Locke was involved in the death of someone this season, we still don't know how he was involved.. Everybody assumes a death means someone will flat out kill someone else...

my speculation? Maybe Locke opens the hatch, and whatever is released from within kills Boone...

ahhh... 5 weeks, 1 day to go..

Well thats the point of my first spoiler, he doesnt really kill anybody but he makes a decision or does something that results in the death of one of the cast members. I think its either going to be Boone, Michael or Sayid.
It would be pretty damn wicked if there was something in the hatch that comes out and kills Boone but I think one monster is enough for this island. I think there are computers, files, etc that tell more about the history of the island. Looking at what the hatch looks like in my earlier pictures, I would have to guess that its a government project gone horribly wrong and the hatch is a sort of panic room/shelter.

I know...waiting this long to find out more about Locke and the hatch is going to suck. I hope its worth it.

Monster? I didn't say monster...
more speculation...
Look at the hatch as a means of 'containment' .... remember Rousseau's team.. they were all infected, and she didn't want them to leave the island...

just posted a comment so that I can subscribe to the thread.

Thats why I referred to the hatch as a possible "panic room." As you can see in...

And to whoever wants to subscribe, there is a link at the top of every thread.

Title edited.

Keep spoilers and discussion of those spoilers in this thread. Spoiler tags are optional. Please keep any "borderline" topics here, and reserve the primary LOST thread for speculation, mindless guessing and bean calculations.

Thanks.

Yeah...this thread will die off...especially with 5 weeks of no Lost. Oh well.
i don't get why we need two threads. Just use the spoiler tag and who cares if you put it in the other thread? But I agree, enough about the freaking beens.
So I am bumping it to the top.
I gotta wonder about the counts for this thread ... 10 posts (now 11) with 243,000 plus views? That doesn't seem logical.

YMMV
It's because the view count from when this was part of the "original" Lost thread moved over with this thread.

OK, what am I looking at and how does it relate to LOST?
It's a spoiler. Get it?
Got it. Duh!
It was much funnier in the original Lost thread...
No spoiler tags necessary? All righty then...

JJ Abrams: "The story of Rousseau is something I would be nervous about if I were Claire."

Lindelof: despite rampant rumors to the contrary, the finale will not reveal why Oceanic 815 crashed but "it's gonna rock people's worlds...the 'Who Shot J.R.' of LOST. We want people talking all summer long."

Flashbacks during the 3-hour two-night finale will focus on the day of the flight. The monster returns. And will end in a cliff-hanger that defies "the loyal audience to not tune in next season."

There, I feel better. Now you know what I know.

Someone else is going to die before the end of the season...
Someone else? from the main cast?

I want to know. I need to know.
Here's a clip.

TV Guide: There are rumors that Boone may not be the only main character dying. What can you tell us about that?
Somerhalder: There are going to be a lot more. I'm going to sound like an ass for saying this, but I'd rather be the first one off. It was all the more of a shock to me and the cast and to the story. You never forget the first, right?
and...

TV Guide: Is there a chance we haven't seen the last of Boone?
Somerhalder:
Yeah, totally. By the end of the season, I'll be back in flashbacks. Here's the other thing: I'm gonna be coming back next season, too.

TV Guide: Wait is Boone really dead?
Somerhalder:
He's dead as a doornail. Trust me. He's in the ground. Dead, dead, dead.

TV Guide: So how will he be back next season?
Somerhalder:
[The producers] have kind of told me what they have in mind, but I don't think they know in whole yet. But I can imagine it's gonna be pretty cool. And I wholeheartedly look forward to it.

Now, that's why I'm still subscribed to this thread...

wiggo and rdwalt, you made my day!

They can bring him back in flashbacks and in hallucinations. They could even bring him back as a ghost to talk to Locke.
It will be his long lost evil twin.

There's no such thing as ghosts. The only ghosts you'll see on this show is if you're watching it through an analog channel.

Wow... Just came across a pretty big spoiler. Seems that, as we thought from the adjusted radio message, there is indeed another set of survivors. Michelle Rodriguez is joining the cast and will also be seen in the season finale. Here is the info:

"TV Guide reports that film actress Michelle Rodriguez ("The Fast & The Furious", "Resident Evil") will be joining the cast of ABC hit show "Lost" next season as a regular. You won't have to wait til next year though it seems.

Turns out she will be introduced in the thriller's flashback-heavy season finale next month as a fellow passenger who befriends Matthew Fox's Jack prior to takeoff of the ill-fated Oceanic Flight 815."
