I installed a Vodavi Starplus STS system (3 CO lines x 8 phones) and have pretty much enjoyed the system. However, I have a really strange problem.
I have the 24 button office style phones, with speaker phone capability. Here's the problem: Occasionally, the phones speakers will emit a noise that sounds like static/interference from the speaker. This is when no phone is in use and no phones are "off the hook". Its just like they pick up a strange broadcast from outer space.
Now, I did notice one thing. If I have my cell phone sitting near on of the Vodavi phones, the interference occurs right before I get a cell call. If I hold my cell phone near a Vodavi phone, the speaker plays the interference.
Any Ideas????
