The point is not whether he should have responded yesterday. The point is you should never in this thread have written what you did, nor should you have called Paul what you did in this post, and then tried to get away with it by telling him and us all to shut up and move on. You more than anyone, with your off-topic hateful and pejorative religious and political remarks, will be responsible for the demise of this thread, should it die. And then you plead with us to help "keep the thread alive."
All right, that's enough
. There was nothing hateful and pejorative about anything I said, that's your spin
, Eric. All I did was point out two things in response to another post
about "tolerance" (how ironic!): 1) I simply wrote down Republican talking points in post #91. There wasn't a single word there that was untrue, as Steve demonstrated a few posts back; if so, please point it out. Then, post #97 simply pointed out key ingredients in the social fabric that liberals are responsible for and that all of us, liberal and conservative alike, take for granted.
All of the hate and vitriol in this thread comes, as usual, from the Conservative side. You never
see such anger and personal attacks coming from liberals. Never. My point was lack of tolerance and you just made it more convincingly than I ever could. If you want to slam me personally without justification (and I know how much you love it), please do it via PM from now on, and save everyone else from having to read it.
