If the codes for the device you have arent in there, you can create the device in the library, learn the comands from the remote you havem and add it to your IR Library for future use. That feature comes in handy when you have a unique device like a mutiplexer for multible security cams around a house. You can then make a "Security Cameras" page and add buttons like "front door cam" that will got to that input on the multiplexer. The down side is that it retails for around $600+. Im hoping you can make pages and custom labled buttons on the 880. |
Take this with a grain of salt, I am not 100% down with the Harmony's yet.
The 880 does have a docking station (cradle) that will charge the Li-Ion battery and play a slide Show whilst in the craddle (yes you can use your own pictures). I think you can do a macro if you want, you just have to play around with the setup on the internet. Make an account, and pretend you have a 880 and see what you can do, you will not have a remote to download too, but you can see if Marcos can be done. I know you can add different devices and do special commands with time delays and such, but I would find a Harmony Guru on this site to ask to make sure. Or call their tech support.
The 880 can also learn a remote code if it's not known in their library, there is an IR reciever on the rear of the Harmony
does this help?

They do mention light controllers too.
You can rename activites too, so you can call them what ever you want, I don't see why the mutiplexer would not work, but call HARMONY to MAKE SURE.
