I'd have to see them both side to side to determine if their i a "HUGE" improvement like you say, but i doubt it.
I'd like to see a 50" 1080i monitor displayed right next to a 50" 1080p monitor.
For some people, going from 480i to 480p is'nt really that noticeable, i think the same will hold true for 1080p, just a little sharper and more stable probably since it's progressive.But i don't see a night and day difference.
Of coarse 1080i would'nt display good on a computer since computers are native progressive displays.
I'd really like to see how good 1080p is when it get's released, but something just keeps telling me it's not going to be the drastic of an improvement over 1080i.
