I just took a look at Sean's bio at IMDB, it seem like the whole Bellisario family works on this show.

Bellisario definitely liked to use the family. Sean's step-brother Michael played Abby's lab assistant Chip and was a semi-regular on JAG as well. His brother, other step brother, and step sister all have various producer related roles.

What's he using MS Outlook Express - Short Wave edition?

I think you were too close to the plot line, I barely remember it as it was almost purposely insignificant, this was probably the very best insight and tribute episode I've ever seen for a long running TV show. In my opinion, it was outstanding, the look into the psyches of the team, and their innermost feelings about their lost team member was simply one of the best hours of dramatic TV I've seen in quite some time. It doesn't surprise me that this show is the highest rated drama on TV, it absolutely deserves the rating.

Yeah made me wonder why so much mention of Kate, until we know who the shrink was.

So, all crew is lonely and that officer died alone, mmmm, I think at least someone should hook up in there?

I insist: Tony and Ziva, Tim and Abby, Gibbs and a redhead (hey Kate sister?)
Whatever happend to the mysterious redhead that used to pick Gibbs up in a car back in like season 1 or 2? they never explained who she was.

good episode last night.. nice to see Scott Lawrence from the original JAG do an appearance. He's been a busy man lately.

I'm really hoping that tim and abby hook up, I mean I think its about time they finally go for it (and it work out) I was getting serious vibes when the shrink was talking to abby. Anyway I honestly think last nights episode was a huge closure event for everyone, made me nervous that perhaps it was going to be a series finale o..o;

I know it's been a while but didn't they hint that Abbey and McGee had slept together in previous seasons?

I, too, was a little baffled to all the references to Sasha Alexander until the end. It did bring back memories of the earlier episodes. And, for one, I do miss Sasha. Cote does a great job, but I liked Sasha better in the role. Too bad (for me) that she wanted to leave the show. I don't think I've heard her mentioned anywhere since she left the show.

She's one of the 2 lead characters on Rizzoli and Isles on TNT.

Was going to say that myself... I'm not sure what she did between then and now... except she was on an episode of House that I saw... but I actually saw that episode of House before I had ever watched NCIS.
I don't think she did much of anything. She took some time off from the business to raise her first child.

Also noticed one flub I think. Kate's sister in the car with McGee mentioned about his Ivy League education. Pretty sure it's been stated on the show before he went to MIT.

Yep, this week, in the clip where Abby made that remark about how McGee didn't just sleep in her coffin.
I must say, whenever I see Abby, I'm amazed how Pauley's looks belies her age.
I enjoyed the reduced red push in those older clips.

Sorry to announce there was a death on the set yesterday. A 52 year old male security guard was killed after being struck by an out of control passenger van, when its 60 year old driver suffered a heart attack. Production is currently still shut down on the Santa Clarita, California set. Production staff, CBS bosses, and the entire NCIS cast and crew are devastated by this tragedy.

That's doubly sad... not only for the man who was killed... but you know the driver is going to feel really bad about that and there likely wasn't any possible way for him to change the situation given that he could well have died himself due to the heart attack.

On a show like NCIS, where I gather the cast and crew all get along... that's probably going to be tough for a while.

I swear this show actually hurts my eyes to watch.

What specifically causes your eyes to hurt? The way it is shot? The grisly death and morgue scenes? The annoying "fade to black and white" with accompanying sound effects?

How about some equipment update in the office? I know there is a budget crisis, but how about some nice slim LCD monitors instead of those dinosaur CRT's? Tim would be happy...
Regarding the old school CRT's.....I think it kind of fits with Gibb's team. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Who plays Palmer? Don't see his name on the credits.

I'm confused about the end of last nite's episode.
Gibbs and Tobias decided not to go the wedding of their (mutual) ex wife.
But Tobias said "I just gave away the bride?"
What did that mean?

The frickin blurriness of the show. Good God how they can pass this off as HD is beyond me.

Better check your equipment . . .

The graininess is intentional and has been a part of the show since it's inception. If anything they have toned it down over the years.
At times, it's lower quality than an infomercial. It's especially bad in low light conditions, like the conference room where they interview family of victims. They are in competition with ABC's daytime Regis show for worst PQ, ever. Unless that would be THIS TV's reruns of SG-U, with the roaming robot camera.

Uhh, You can rest assured it is not my equipment.

Edit: Just so I don't have to come back and explain, I have a professionally calibrated Pioneer Elite Pro 151 as well as a professionally calibrated Panny 65vt25 so, as I said it is not my equipment.

I am well aware of that. What I question is why? Why would you intentionally "dumb down" the pq?
I am sure it is considerable less expensive to film the show in sd. Why not just do that and save the cash. What they are showing now is far from HD quality.

Brian Dietzen. He's only in the credits on the episdoes that Palmer appears in.

No clue what Farnell's line at the end about giving the wife away. Didn't get that one either.

My take, was that he has finally cut ties with the ex. He mentioned earlier that he would no longer have to pay alimony. She is no longer his bride, but someone else's. Reason to celebrate.....

Maybe since he was far less bitter about the ex-wife than Gibbs, that he may have still had feelings for her and this was the final nail in that coffin.
