I found a decent server called menofgod, there's no swearing and such so it may be a good server. Just type that in and it will come up. I have a 47 ping on that server. Its usually not full.

I was going to wait until the price drops but you buttholes just might get me to buy this game when it comes out.

Well joined in two rounds, was like playing with blind people. Dont you hate it when you get stuck on that team. I missed you asking me to join squad, I get caught up in the slaughter hehe sorry. If it moves I must kill it little else matters. But I hate it when I get stuck on teams with people who are totally skillless. Problem was I was on the other team i think lol. Oh well later all.

You guys are good squadmates. As a Battlefield newbie, it was fun following people around learning the terms and strategy. :)

I noticed there were TeamAVS players on the same server but not in a squad.... I'll tell you, the game REALLY takes off with squad and voice chat. If the new players don't know yet, BE SURE to learn how to join a squad.

I can't believe I liked the single player game before.. BLEH. :p

Does AVS have its own server? Id leave the clan Im in now to join.

Also, why Xfire? Why not TS?

Yea, my nickname on xfire is AVS_bitTRL1000, but in BF2 I'm roadracer918. I haven't yet figured out how to change my name within BF2.

I had fun last night in that game we played. I joined just as Chris quit. We were getting owned in the beginning, but then I think some of them quit and we turned it around. I'll try to be on tonight as well.

I had fun on Friday night playing, a lot of us were on the same team. I had some issues with a couple of players who kept team killing, what else is new right?

But my other issue in the game when you are flying it's hard to see who the enemy is on the ground and not accidentally bomb your own guys. Hopefully that will be improved at some point.

Another alternative to xfire and the gameSpy is All seeing Eye. It's great because your buddies don't have to be using it for the software to locate them in-game. So if some are on GS and others on xFirem, ASE will still find them all. As of right now it doesn't have BF2 support but they've been really good about adding support quickly. Apparently the BF2 Demo doesn't support auto-launching which is why ASE doesn't support it yet.
